The Evolution
As absolutely pretentious as it sounds, every artist has a different journey through their work. And I feel as if a lot of artists are ashamed of their past pieces, but that's silly. Of course, they're not as good as your current work, they're old. If you look back at your old drawings and don't cringe at how bad they were, then you haven't grown. So look back at where you started, and if you're too afraid to do so, don't worry, I'll go first.
My Artistic Journey
On the left you'll see my first 24 sketchbooks. The first one I got in sixth grade, the last I got in my senior year of high school.
To your right, is what I considered my best work in the first and last sketchbook. Interestingly enough, they are doing very similar poses.
